Understanding Trim Levels and Entertainment
The Pacifica typically offers several primary trim levels. Understanding how rear-seat entertainment is integrated helps buyers choose the right vehicle.
The Pinnacle Trim
For modern models, the luxury-focused Pinnacle trim comes standard with the coveted Uconnect Theater rear-seat entertainment system. This includes dual seatback video screens and Amazon Fire TV Built-in, keeping rear passengers thoroughly occupied on long drives.
Touring, Touring L, and Limited Trims
Lower trims like the base Touring and mid-tier Touring L generally treat the rear-seat entertainment system as an optional add-on package rather than standard equipment. Buyers can specifically request this package when building or buying new models. In older model years, trims like the Touring L Plus also featured advanced media bundles.
Key Features to Look For
Modern Pacifica entertainment packages usually include:
- Dual 10-inch touchscreens mounted on front seatbacks.
- Amazon Fire TV integration for streaming.
- Wireless headphones and Blu-ray/DVD capability on select legacy editions.
- HDMI inputs for gaming consoles and mobile devices.
In summary, while the Pinnacle includes it natively, other trims like the Limited and Touring L can feature entertainment systems through specific option bundles. Always check the window sticker.
